Welcome to Covey Run Farm! This is a top notch training facility with a comfortable eight stall barn complete with a wash stall, feed room and heated tack room. The fencing has been recently replaced and a new 90’ by 180’ outdoor arena was installed. The outdoor is treated all year to avoid freezing in the winter and to keep the dust down in the summer. We also have a full set of fences to school over in addition to wonderful hacking with streams and jumps! There are six turnout fields so horses are turned out in pairs.

The specifics of the training programs are tailored to each horse, and horses of any level are welcome. The horses work five to six days a week. Carrie always incorporates cross country riding into each horses schedule to broaden the animals’ education and it is wonderful for their minds.

Carrie encourages strong client participation in their horses training program. If the owner is having the horse trained so they themselves can ride and enjoy him, they may take as many lessons as they want. Lessons are included in the monthly training fee. Clients may also schedule times to watch their horse work if they desire. Carrie is always available by phone and all calls are returned promptly.
